RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • 14- Day Window: Online purchases are valid for exchange or store credit within 14- days of receipt.

  • 24 -Hour Notification: If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package to initiate a claim.

  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Customized Pieces: Because these are handcrafted for you, all custom pieces are Final Sale and cannot be returned for "change of mind."

  • Sale Items: Any items purchased at a discount or during a sale are Final Sale.

  • Misused Items: We will not accept returns for items that show signs of wear, accidental breakage, or misuse.

WARRANTY vs. RETURNS

  • While our Return Policy covers the first 14 days, our 1-Year Warranty covers you for the long term against manufacturing defects (tarnishing/stone loss).

  • Physical damage (snapped charms/broken chains) is not covered by the warranty but may be repaired for a small fee.

RETURN DELIVERY COSTS

  • The delivery cost to return an order for exchange or "change of mind" is at the customer’s expense.

  • If the return is due to an error on Her Essentials' behalf, we will cover all delivery costs.

Her Essentials: 1-Year Warranty

At Her Essentials, we are committed to providing high-quality, durable jewelry. Every piece you purchase is backed by our 1-Year Warranty from the date of your original purchase.

1. What is Covered (Manufacturing Defects)

We will replace or repair your item free of charge if it experiences any of the following defects due to a failure in materials or craftsmanship:

  • Plating & Tarnishing: Unexpected fading or peeling of the gold plating beyond normal wear.

  • Stone Loss: Stones falling out due to a failure in the setting or adhesive.

  • Hardware Failure: Malfunctioning clasps, broken jump rings (not caused by pulling), or structural defects in the metal.

  •  Her Essential Custom error

  • If an error or mistake occurs on a customized product on Her Essentials behalf, we take full responsibility. In these cases:

    • We will cover all return and delivery fees.

    • We will prioritize any changes or replacements needed to correct the order at no cost to you.

     

2. What is NOT Covered

This warranty is intended to cover product failure, not lifestyle wear or accidents. The following are excluded:

  • Physical Damage: Charms or chains that have been snapped, bent, or broken due to being caught on clothing, pulled, or stepped on.

  • Loss & Theft: We cannot replace items or individual charms that have been lost or stolen.

  • Natural Wear: Fine scratches or the gradual "dulling" of metal that occurs naturally over time.

  • Wrong Sizing: If the incorrect size was selected at checkout, this is not a manufacturing defect. We are happy to help you resize it, but resizing fees and all shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.

3. Terms of the Warranty

  • Original Date: The warranty period begins on the day of the original purchase. Receiving a replacement item does not restart or extend the 1-year window.

  • Evaluation: To process a claim, a photo of the defect is required. We reserve the right to determine if the issue is a manufacturing defect or accidental damage.

  • Limit: After two replacements for the same item, Her Essentials reserves the right to provide a store credit or a final repair, as repeated issues typically suggest wear-and-tear rather than a factory defect.

What is Covered (Manufacturing Defects)

Our warranty covers flaws in the craftsmanship or materials of the item, including eg:

  • Plating Issues: Premature fading or peeling beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Component Failure: Broken clasps or jump rings that fail under normal use.


What is Not Covered (Accidental Damage & Wear)

Because jewelry is delicate, our warranty does not cover damage caused by external forces or improper care, such as:

  • Physical Breakage: Charms that have been snapped, pulled, or broken off due to catching on clothing or other objects.
  • Loss: Items or charms that are lost.
  • Scratches: Surface scratches from daily contact.

Terms of Replacement

  1. The Warranty Period: The 12-month coverage begins on the date of the original purchase.
  2. Evaluation: We reserve the right to inspect photos or the physical item to determine if the issue is a manufacturing defect or accidental damage.
  3. One-Time Courtesy: Accidental breakage is generally not covered. Any replacement offered for accidental damage is a one-time gesture of goodwill and does not waive the terms of this policy for future claims.
